Emma Caroline, a Tuscaloosa, Alabama native is a country musician and a frontrunner in Season 20 of The Voice. The 25-year-old Alabama stepped onto The Voice stage Monday night (March 8) for the Blind Auditions and left a strong impression with the coaches.

Caroline covered Kacey Musgraves’ “Slow Burn”, earning a quick turn from Shelton. Clarkson followed shortly after. She ultimately chose TeamShelton.

She’s a Southern girl, through and through, a Tuscaloosa native who grew up in a house on a dirt road, within shouting distance of her grandparents. She follows Alabama football with fervor and has been known to arrange her Saturdays around the Crimson Tide.

She’s as polite as they come, saying “Yes, ma’am” and “No, sir.” She goes to church on Sundays, leads worship through music, and says her relationship with the Lord is the most important thing in her life.

As a member of Blake Shelton’s team on Season 20 of the NBC reality series and one of four singers who’ll vie for viewer votes tonight in a Four-Way Knockout Emma Caroline says she’s having a wonderful time.

Snoop Dogg, who served as a “mega mentor” for the Knockouts, filled that role with aplomb, helping Emma Caroline to prepare for her performance of “Neon Moon.” It was filmed in advance, but “Voice” fans will see it for the first time on tonight’s episode.

Speaking of how she got along with a laid-back hip-hop star, Emma said to AOL, “I had a great experience with him. I thought his commentary was awesome. He met me where I was. He was so supportive, and it made me more confident to hear an icon saying that. He was my cheerleader.”

Voting in the Four-Way Knockout lasts from 7 p.m. CT on Monday through 6 a.m. CT on Tuesday, April 27th, via “The Voice” website and app. The winner of the Four-Way Knockout moves on to the Live Playoffs.

“I hope to make everyone proud and do my best,” Emma Caroline says. “I just want to say thank you for the support so far.”
