Cam Anthony is a singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who was a contestant on Season 20 of The Voice. He is a member of Team Blake.
Cam grew up in North Philadelphia and turned to music as an escape from the violence and crime he faced in the city. He learned at an early age how to control his voice and honed his skills in the church choir. At 11, Cam's life changed forever after a video of him singing a Bruno Mars song went viral. Cam was later invited to open for Patti LaBelle, sing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and even perform at the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll.
At 12, Cam was signed by Dr. Dre. and spent the rest of his teen years recording and performing. His contract ended recently, and Cam is ready to take full control of his artistry and continue making a name for himself on the Voice stage.
He released his first single “How Can I Forgive Ya” in 2016. He dropped “Leave Your Troubles” in 2019. Cam was featured on Carter’s 2020 tracks “Music Makes Me” and “Take Your Love.”

The Voice Auditions
Cam first stunned the coaches with his rendition of Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down.” Nick Jonas was the first to turn around. John Legend was doing the same thing, but Nick used his block on John. Blake Shelton turned around as well. Despite Nick’s praise, Cam went with Blake as his coach. Cam went on to perform with Emma Caroline in the Battle Rounds, and they performed a beautiful duet of Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours.” Cam defeated Emma and advanced on to the Knockouts.

Cam Anthony, 19, will be hitting the stage on The Voice once again for the Knockout Rounds on April 26. He’ll be singing Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” for his Knockouts performance. He’s facing off against Connor Christian.
Cam Anthony is dynamic on both Instagram and YouTube. In his Instagram account, he goes by the username, therealcamanthony, and has more than 40k followers.
