The 35-year-old is originally from St John, Indiana, and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in psychology. This was the time the pair met, in 2007, when Busch was a promising driver at a promotional event at a nearby race track. According to her LinkedIn page, Sarcinella is the founder of the Bundle of Joy Fund, a Mooreville, North Carolina-based nonprofit that advocates for infertility education and awareness.
Busch and Sarcinella have long suffered from infertility. They have gone through a miscarriage, a failed IVF attempt, and most recently a second IVF failure while using an apparently healthy surrogate in November 2020.
During a particularly difficult period after Samantha's miscarriage, the couple seriously considered divorce. "Kyle was my rock and I felt like he didn't have that anymore," Sarcinella told People in March of this year. "We were spiraling. It seemed like the divorce was real and it was scary."

Kyle Busch achieves 100 career wins in NASCAR Xfinity Series
Busch had previously said that he would no longer compete in the Xfinity Series once he reached 100 victories in the series. That seemed to change when Busch said after his 99th series win last week at Texas that Joe Gibbs Racing had sold him races to drive in the series next year.
After Busch scored his record-extending 100th career series win on Saturday at the Nashville Superspeedway, he said he understood JGR had not sold any races for him to drive in the Xfinity Series next year. A Joe Gibbs Racing spokesman told NBC Sports late Saturday that Xfinity's plans for next year are yet to be determined.
"This could be it," Busch said. "Two more. It ends this year."
When asked if he was good with it, Busch said, "I'm fine with it."
Why?
“Did you hear the crowd? Nobody likes me here, ”Busch joked. "So peace, bye. If you want me to pay to resign next to the Cup, go ahead, I'll go. "
When asked why he would stop racing in the Xfinity Series, Busch said: “I get hit, whether it's the fans or here (media center). Why am I doing it? What am I doing it for? Why am I hitting little kids and all that? "

Busch noted that when Justin Allgaier passed him for the lead, he saw the reaction of the crowd in the main straight stands.
"I actually looked up," he said of the crowd's response to Allgaier's move. "That's really nice. I passed it back to take the lead and they all sat down. I was like 'ha ha.'
Busch's remaining races at Xfinity this season are July 3 at Road America and July 10 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
NASCAR rules limit drivers who earn Cup points and have more than three full-time Cup seasons to no more than five Xfinity races per season. These drivers also cannot compete in the last eight Xfinity races of the season (the regular-season finale and all seven playoff races) and all four Dash 4 Cash events.
Busch has won all three Xfinity starts he has made this season. He won at the Circuit of the Americas, Texas, and Nashville.
