Mee Kuen Chong, who was found in Salcombe, Devon, had disappeared from the Wembley area of London. Her body was found in a forest near Bennett Road on June 27, Devon and Cornwall's police said.

Mee Kuen Chong, was reported missing on Friday June 11 from Wembley in London, and detectives say her death is being treated as "inexplicable." Ms Chong's body, which a police source confirmed as having no head, was found in a Salcombe forest in Devon on Sunday.
Researchers are now trying to establish her movements before she died. Det Supt Ben Deer of Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The investigation is ongoing at the scene. It is being treated as inexplicable at this time and we are keeping an open mind."
He said police do not know when she died, her movements between June 10 and when she was found on June 27, or the circumstances that led to her death. Police have named a woman whose "beheaded" body was found in a coastal town two weeks after her disappearance.
He said: "We are seeking to understand her movements between June 10 and June 27 when she was found.

"We would appeal for witnesses and look for anyone who submitted information citing crime reference number 700 on June 27 by calling 101 or contacting us at Crimestoppers."
The incident has so far been described as an "unexplained death" and a police source has confirmed that the body was found without a head.
A spokesperson said: "Investigations are ongoing into an unexplained death after a body was found in a wooded area near Bennett Road, Salcombe, on Sunday, June 27." Several investigations will take place in Salcombe over the next few days, and the local community will likely continue to see a high level of police activity. " Ms. Chong's disappearance caused a great demand for information.
In a social media post on June 15, the Brent Metropolitan Police service said: "Police need your help in locating MEE (DEBORAH) CHONG, who has been reported # missing from her #Wembley address. If you see it, call 101 ref 21MIS016922 ".
On Sunday afternoon, a flash flood hit South Devon, and the water tumbled down the steep cliff into the woods above Salcombe's Cliff Road. Then, around 5 p.m., a body was found in the woods not far from the Salcombe Harbor Hotel. The woods below Devon Road and above Bennett Road are popular with dog walkers. They are now cordoned off.
