Jessica Harvill is the wife of Jessica Harvill's world record attempt was announced as part of the Moses Lake Air Show in Washington state, where he would attempt to break the current world record for the longest motorcycle ramp jump - 106.98 meters. However, the Grant County Coroner confirmed that he died shortly thereafter. Robbie Maddison, the Australian world record holder whose jump Harvill was trying to break, said he was "devastated" by the tragedy.

"He had flown a motorcycle farther than anyone else and was ready to set a new world record when he paid the maximum price," he said.
In an interview with local media last month, Harvill said he hoped to follow in the footsteps of greats like Evel Knievel.
"Just seeing them on television made them seem almost larger than life," he said.
"I never dreamed of being one of them."
Harvill had posted about the birth of his son on Instagram just four weeks before the accident.
Maddison posted a recollection of Harvill Thursday night, saying that he was "devastated" by the news.
"[He] was ready to set a new world record today when he paid the maximum price," Maddison wrote on Instagram. "My heart is broken for his family. Sending our love to Jessica, Willy and Watson."
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday, according to the Grant County Coroner.
"We regret to report today at our first air show event - Guinness World Record jump attempt Alex Harvill was injured during his warm-up before the jump and was taken to hospital," Moses Lake Airshow said in a statement on his Facebook page. . "We have no further information at this time about the incident."
"I've been riding since I was 4 years old, but before that, I was riding on the front of my father's bike," Harvill told the Columbia Basin Herald in an interview last month about the record jump. "I've ridden dirt bikes all my life and I admire everyone who races dirt bikes and I think of those guys as heroes."
He already held the ground-to-ground distance jump record at just over 297 feet, set in 2013.
He has also competed in motocross and supercross racing in addition to distance jumps and stunts.
