On Tuesday, police sadly confirmed that a member of the public found a body on Father's Day and, although formal identification has not yet been made, it is believed to be Glen.

Glen Carr, was last seen leaving his Gateshead home in his gray BMW 3 Series on April 23. But he didn't show up for work, and cops later discovered the engine in the Cow Green Reservoir parking lot in County Durham. Police confirmed today that a body was found yesterday in the search for the missing father of three.
Although no formal identification has been made, police believe it belongs to the missing Glen. They do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
Northumbria Police Detective Chief Inspector Angela Hufton said: "This has been an incredibly difficult time for Glen's family and, in particular, for his partner Kim, who has had to put on a brave face for their three children. little ones.
"They have been desperate for answers about Glen's disappearance and this was the news they had been dreading for the past few weeks. Father's Day was always going to be difficult for Kim and her children, but now it will always be associated with the discovery of Glen's body.
"We will continue to support them and ask that their privacy be respected so that they can take the time they need to cry."

The tragic discovery comes just days after his family desperately asked for information before Father's Day. Kim Jackson, her partner of more than 20 years, said last Thursday: “This has been the worst two months of our lives and it has been really difficult for us to accept why Glen disappeared.
"This Sunday is Father's Day and Glen was an amazing father who would do anything for his children. This weekend will be just another reminder of how much we miss him. We had to celebrate birthdays without him and put on a brave face for his three kids, but they just want to know where their dad is.
"It's hard to accept that it will never come home, but we still don't know for sure if it has gotten into the water and we are desperate for some answers. We ask anyone who has visited the reservoir in recent months to think about whether they were there that day and if they could have seen Glen.
"It may not mean much to you at the time, but if you can remember even the smallest detail, it could make a huge difference to our family."
Glen's car was discovered in the beautiful location along with his personal belongings after he was unable to get to work in April. The police believed that he had entered the water. A search was launched and police appealed to anyone who saw him at the reservoir to get in touch.
