People support for fianceé
Katelyn Warner said that she and Anderson have been best friends since she was 3 when they became next door neighbors. They have seen each other through tragedy over and over again throughout the years.
When officials removed Warner from her family as a child, she and Anderson remained close as friends. Warner said Anderson was there for her as he later fought for custody of her siblings and that they even got pregnant with her first children at the same time. In 2011, Warner supported Anderson after she lost five members of her family in a "super outbreak" of tornadoes in Alabama.
She said Anderson is the type of person who goes out of his way to help others, despite enduring so much loss.
"If you need her, she will be there. She is very devoted to her friends and her family. Cody was too," Warner said. "They were so in love. You didn't even have to meet them to see the love between them."
Warner organized a GoFundMe campaign with her mutual friend, Paisley Lemons, to support Anderson and her family as she recovers from her injuries and surgery.
