Stefan Zorich is a Senior Vice President (SVP) at Worldwide Delivery at FilmNation Entertainment. He is also known for being the son of Olympia Dukakis, a Greek-American actress, director, producer, teacher, and activist. She performed in over 130 stage productions, over 60 films, and in 50 television series. Dukakis died at her home in New York City on May 1, 2021, at the age of 89.

He went to Drew University for a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cultural Anthropology (1989 – 1993).

He has worked at FilmNation Entertainment for almost 12 years as an SVP, Worldwide Delivery, VP, International Distribution Services, and Director, International Distribution Services. He is the son of Olympia Dukakis and Louis Zorich. In 1962, Olympia Dukakis married the fellow Manhattan theater actor, the Yugoslav-American Louis Zorich. Planning for a family, they moved out of the city in 1970 to settle in Montclair, New Jersey. It was there they raised their three children: Christina Zorich, Peter Zorich, and Stefan Zorich. She and Louis had three grandchildren.

Louis Zorich was an American actor. He is perhaps best known to television audiences for his portrayal of Paul Buchman’s father, Burt Buchman, on the NBC series Mad About You. He played the role from 1993 to 1999. Zorich died at his Manhattan apartment at the age of 93 on January 30, 2018.

Dukakis Cause of Death

Olympia Dukakis, the veteran stage and screen actor whose flair for maternal roles helped her win an Oscar as Cher’s mother in the romantic comedy “Moonstruck,” has died on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at the age of 89.

Dukakis died in her home in New York City, according to Allison Levy, her agent at Innovative Artists. A cause of death was not immediately released, but her family said in a statement that she had been in failing health for months.

Dukakis, who was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, had yearned to be an actor from an early age and had hoped to study drama in college. Her Greek immigrant parents insisted she pursue a more practical education, so she studied physical therapy at Boston University on a scholarship from the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis.

After earning her bachelor’s degree, she worked at an understaffed hospital in Marmet, West Virginia, and at the Hospital for Contagious Diseases in Boston.

She was best known as a screen actress, she started her career in theater. Not long after her arrival in New York City, she won an Obie Award for Best Actress in 1963 for her Off-Broadway performance in Bertolt Brecht’s “Man Equals Man”.
