On Wednesday, May 19th, Teays Valley Local Schools issued a statement confirming that Davis, who worked part-time “as needed”, is no longer employed with the district. “Since this is a pending personnel matter involving a district employee, our practice is not to publicly discuss the specific facts and circumstances. However, we can confirm that Davis has been notified that her services are no longer needed by the Board of Education,” it reads. “We take these allegations very seriously and are committed to the safety and well-being of our students as our first priority.”
Davis’ bond is $250,000, according to Pickaway County Municipal Court. If released, Davis would be required to wear a GPS monitor. Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 27 at 1 pm. In Ohio, it is illegal for adults to have sex with anyone under the age of 16 and educators to have sex with students of any age.
